Homespun Kent: Revolutionary Households, Opening Reception

Join us as we kick off our summer / fall exhibit with a community celebration.  Bring-your-own picnic if you wish!  Or just enjoy some hors d’oeuvres and a period-appropriate cocktail on us.  (We welcome you to bring an appetizer to share, too!)   Activities for children are planned, as well docent-led tours by volunteers in period dress. An educational exhibition video will be available for viewing throughout the evening and a museum shop will be stocked with period appropriate toys and goodies for the home.  Hearth cooking will also be demonstrated (for educational purposes only).  See our calendar for other “maker” demos connected to this exhibition, scheduled throughout the summer.  We look forward to welcoming you home to Seven Hearths!

A donation of $20 for members and $25 for non members is recommended.
