KHS is proud to participate in Sidewalk Sale Days, once again!  For 50 years, Kent’s merchants have celebrated summer by bringing the shopping experience outdoors! During Kent Sidewalk Sale Days, Main Street comes alive with sidewalk sales, exclusive discounts, pop-up shops, delicious food and drinks, live music, demonstrations, family-friendly activities, and so much more.

This year, Kent is celebrating 50 Years on Main Street with their biggest event yet! Stroll through town, discover your favorite local businesses, enjoy special promotions, enter the town-wide prize drawing, and experience everything that makes Kent such a special place to visit.

THE KHS table will have activities for the kids, loads of new merchandise and swag for sale, and information about our latest exhibition, Homespun Kent: Revolutionary Households (now on view).  There will also be a teaser of our programming for next year, Voices of Kent, whereby we will host musical, spoken word and lecture events to raise awareness of our Oral History collection.
